Tailr Explores AI's Role in Textile Innovation at 'Textiles of the Future' Webinar
On 14 November 2024, Shana Chu, founder and CEO of Tailr, joined the second 'Textiles of the Future' partnership webinar, hosted by Textile ETP, to share insights on how AI is transforming the textile industry. This session, focusing on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on design, production, and supply chain management, was moderated by Lutz Walter, Secretary General of Textile ETP.
During the session, attendees heard from three industry leaders about their pioneering work with AI:
Gesine Köppe, from ITA Academy GmbH, discussed how AI-driven innovations optimise manufacturing processes, increasing efficiency and reducing waste.
Shana Chu, representing Tailr, presented on how AI predicts fabric behaviour to enhance garment feasibility and minimise production issues. She explained how Tailr’s AI-powered platform helps brands achieve consistent sizing, reduce costly errors, and streamline production workflows.
The webinar highlighted how AI-driven innovations are reshaping every stage of the textile lifecycle, from design to delivery, promoting smarter and more sustainable practices across the industry.
Tailr is proud to be part of these critical conversations, contributing to the advancement of AI technology within the textile and fashion sectors. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with industry leaders and innovators to drive change through technology.
For those interested in participating in upcoming 'Textiles of the Future' activities, the next session is scheduled for 12 December 2024. Find out more about joining the initiative through Textile ETP.
